If you’re outside our service area, or because you’re going to have an absolute blast doing it yourself, DIY backyard pavilions assembly may be for you. We have detailed drawings and illustrated assembly instructions to make the process as easy for you as possible. Everything in your DIY vinyl pavilion kit is pre-cut and securely packed on pallets about 4’ wide and 4’ tall. When the posts and beams are squared up properly, all the pieces fasten together very easily. With good planning and preparation, building your own vinyl pavilion from a kit with your family and friends can be a great memory you can be extremely proud of.

Full transparency – in our service area – it’s actually pretty rare our customers choose the DIY backyard pavilion assembly themselves. Even if you have years of construction experience or a friend in the business, our factory assembly is just very tough to beat (most of our customers also elect DIY unloading to get the materials off the truck – so if you want it unloaded for you – make sure to discuss with your design consultant so they can get you a quote for that).

Subtle Enhancements Create More Stature

Length and weight and number of pallets of course depends upon size. The largest heaviest pieces will be your beams and your posts each of which may be lifted/carried by one person with very few exceptions. We strongly urge our kit customers to read through the drawings and instructions in advance and contact the factory with their questions PRIOR to the arrival of the kit. We’ll do our best to get you in touch with technical help, but it may not be immediate, especially if you’re assembling your kit on a weekend.

Be forewarned that others that offer these types of DIY backyard pavilion kits may try to make the process sound easier than it is to get the sale – the right experience and simple common sense go a long way.
